Scott Sees Red Over Cavs 25 Turnovers in Warriors Loss

Cavaliers coach Byron Scott was not in a very happy mood after the teams 10-point loss to Golden State on Tuesday night. The team, that had just completed a 3-4 road trip, committed 25 turnovers that resulted in 23 Warriors points.

The bottom line – they were not very careful with the basketball. Scott said being better in the turnover department is something the team had better start doing.

“We lost because we were terrible,” Scott said. “Like I told the guys, ‘That’s 25 opportunities where we didn’t even get to take a shot.’ At times, we’re throwing it around like it’s not that important. That round ball is pretty important.”

It’s the second time this season that the team has committed over 20 turnovers in a game, and it’s happening at an alarming rate. Kyrie Irving, who runs the team on a nightly basis, is going to get better, and the other young players also should improve, and that number should start to decrease.

Tuesday night though, it was something that made Scott see red, and something that the team will be working quite a bit on before Friday’s game against the big bad Chicago Bulls.
