Posted in Trying to keep as positive a spin on what happened last night, the Cavs sent out the info today for their “Watch Party” which will be at the Q tomorrow night for game 6 between the Cavs and Boston. Here’s all the info below. Take note of the first sentence, rather funny considering last night’s effort:
ONE MORE WIN and the Eastern Conference semifinals series will be tied 3-3 with a Game 7 at The Q on Sunday. With Game 6 in Boston on Thursday night, this is the time more than ever for Cavaliers fans to come ALL TOGETHER in support of our team! Fan are invited and encouraged to CHEER TOGETHER at The Q for the official PNC Cavaliers Watch Party brought to you by Mentor and Halleen Kia for GAME 6 tomorrow night.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with live game action on ESPN featured on Q-Tube beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Before the game, The Q’s concourse will be full of activities including interactive games, contests, prizes, concessions and more. When the game begins, the Cavaliers entertainment groups— the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team, Moondog and in-arena hosts Ahmaad and Nicole will all be there to create the home court excitement that will be felt all the way to Boston! In addition, the “Cavaliers Live” postgame show with Jeff Phelps, Austin Carr and Campy Russell will broadcast live from the Watch Party on Fox Sports Ohio and Q-Tube immediately following the game. The show will include postgame analysis, press conferences, and locker room interviews, from Boston.
FREE TICKETS (limit of 4 per person 18 and older) ARE AVAILABLE AT THE QUICKEN LOANS ARENA BOX OFFICE. Free admission vouchers are also available at Mentor Kia (9090 Mentor Ave.) or Halleen Kia in North Olmsted (27726 Lorain Rd.). There is a limit of ONE (1) free voucher per person, and one voucher is good for FOUR (4) FREE reserved ticket while supplies last. Fans must be 18 or older to receive a voucher. A ticket for reserved seating is required for entry. Vouchers can be redeemed online at cavs.com/watchparty to receive their tickets via Flash Seats. They can also be redeemed at the Quicken Loans Arena box office. All vouchers and tickets will be distributed while supplies last, and a voucher does not guarantee tickets will be available upon redemption.
As an alternate option to the vouchers, fans can purchase tickets for $6 ($1.50 service fee will apply) at all ticket distribution channels. There is an eight (8) ticket limit per transaction on all $6 tickets and fans must be 18 or older to purchase. A portion of the proceeds from the PNC Watch Parties will go to purchase supplies for pre-kindergarten classrooms within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, in conjunction with Grow Up Great, PNC’s signature philanthropic endeavor to support early childhood education.
