The Cavaliers continue to be the NBA’s most watched team, leading the league this season in overall average attendance (home and road combined) and TV viewership (#1 for local TV ratings).  For the first time in franchise history, the team is on pace to sell out all 41 regular season home games. They are also currently playing to a 75-game home sellout streak, including all 39 home games this season, and the last 29 games from the 2008-09 season, and seven in the 2009 playoffs.

Through 78 locally and nationally broadcast games on FOX Sports Ohio, TNT, ESPN and ABC this season, the Cavaliers have an overall local TV average rating of 10.5, which equates to over 500,000 people watching each game. Often, when games are broadcast locally and nationally, the local viewership total is well over 800,000.

For the 66 games broadcast on FOX Sports Ohio, the Cavaliers average rating is 8.66, which stands as the NBA’s top rated local game broadcast rating. FOX Sports Ohio and the Cavaliers will also thank viewers during the Wednesday, April 14th telecast of the last regular season game from Atlanta when the Cavs take on the Hawks at 8:00 p.m. It will be “Viewer Appreciation Night” presented by KIA and viewers will have the opportunity to watch and win fabulous prize packs.

For Fan Appreciation Day, each fan will receive a Cavaliers gift bag filled with items including a Dave & Buster’s game card, a coupon for a free Arby’s shake and other fun stuff—and the giving will continue through the game!  Prize Patrols will disperse an incredible assortment of great giveaways that will include Cavs memorabilia, thousands of local retailer gift cards and t-shirts, and tickets to a variety of events and attractions!
