It seems like every time you turn on the television or read the sporting section, LeBron James is adding new achievements to his career stats. Which leads to the question, How much history can James rewrite.
The latest achievement came the in a game on March 19, 2010 when James became the youngest player in the NBA to reach 15,000 points in a career. Which should be no surprise considering he is the youngest player to reach every thousand point milestone from 1,000 to 15,000. If he can stay healthy and play long enough, might give him a shot at the most points scored in a Career for a NBA player.
Take a look at some of the other categories James is recognized as being the youngest player to achieve:
The youngest player to be named NBA Rookie Of The Year (age 19)
Youngest player to record a triple-double (age 20 years 20 days)
Youngest player to record 30 points in a game (age 18 years 334 days)
Youngest player to record 40 points in a game (age 19 years 88 days)
Youngest player to score 2,000 points in a career (2004-05)
Youngest player to average 30 points in a season (2005-06)
Youngest player to be awarded All-NBA Honors (2004-05)
Youngest player named to the All-NBA First Team (age 21 years 188 days)
Youngest player to win an All-Star game MVP (age 21 years 55 days)
Due to the fact that the NBA in 2006 introduced age requirement restrictions, Prospective high school players must now wait a year before entering the NBA, making these records more difficult to break.
James has also made many other achievements in his career so far which include:
One of only three player in NBA history to average at least 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assist in their Rookie season
One of only five player in NBA history to average at least 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assist in a season

One of only two players in NBA history to post at least 2000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assist in a season at least four times
One of only four players in NBA history to average at least 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assist for their career
One of only three player in NBA history to average at least 40 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assist in a postseason series
One of only three players in NBA history to record a triple-double in their playoff debut
One of only two players in NBA history to win NBA Player Of The Month Award at least four time in a season
One of four players in NBA history to lead their team in all five major statistical categories
First player in NBA history to receive 2.5 Million NBA All-Star votes on 3 separate occasions
Second place all-time for consecutive 20 point games to start a playoff career with 19
Most consecutive points scored for a team in a playoff game with 25
On top of all these records in the NBA, James holds 49 Cleveland Cavaliers franchise records. Adding all these records and achievements up leads back to the big question, How much history will LeBron James rewrite on his way to the Hall Of Fame. I myself, am hoping that all his records will be recorded in a Cleveland Cavaliers uniform. But if not, it will still be incredible to see the record books be rewritten as James completes his career in the NBA.
