
CLEVELAND- The Cavaliers came into tonight’s game knowing that they may have their hands full due to the last time they faced the Detroit Pistons they had to erase a 21 point difference. Also they other thing for the Cavaliers they are trying to get ready for the playoff on a health and consistent bases. Everyone should know by now that Shaquille O’Neal had made his way back to Cleveland and is rehabbing his hand injury. The good thing is the 22nd of March the Cavaliers can finally work on negotiations to bring Zydrunas Ilgauskas back to the roster. This could prove to be a great move if there is any further injuries to the Cavaliers big men.
The game against the Pistons got going just as the hope by Detroit fans. In the first quarter both teams kept going back and forth and they both scored 28 points. In the second quarter it was more of the same but the Pistons outscored the Cavaliers 28 -26 to give them the lead 56-54 at the half. In the third quarter both teams came out a little sluggish as the Cavaliers did outscore the Pistons 21-20 to cut the Pistons lead to 1 point. Then in the fourth quarter it was Cavaliers time as they outscored the Pistons 38-25 giving them their fourth win in a row 113-101.
Leading the way for the Cavaliers with a triple-double LeBron James had 29 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Mo Williams had 20 points, 5 assist, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Antawn Jamison had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assist. Jawad Williams had 10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
The Cavaliers next game in March 17th at the Q as the face the Indiana Pacers. Tip off is at 7:00.
