Talks Heating Up With THe Cavaliers And Suns In A Deal To Bring Amare Stoudemire To Cleveland

CLEVELAND- It looks lie the Cavaliers GM Danny Ferry is not taking anytime off on the All-Star break as word begins to surface the Cavaliers and Suns are close to making a deal that will send J.J. Hickson and Zydrunas Ilgauskas to Phoenix and Amare Stoudemire to Cleveland. According to sources the Cavaliers may feel that with this move they could sign Stoudemire to a long term contract in the summer, then that would convince LeBron James to re-sign with the Cavaliers making a solid foundation here in Cleveland.
Stoudemire does have one-year $17 million left on his contract so that is on option that he could exercise if he chooses. Plus more than likely the Phoenix Sun are going to waive Ilgauskas, which would allow him to re-sign with the Cavaliers after 30 days, which will just make the Cavaliers that much stronger and the Cleveland fan happier.
Cleveland is also talking with Washington about acquiring Antawan Jamison, as well as Indiana about Troy Murphy. Meanwhile, Golden State is trying to entice the Cavs into taking Corey Maggette for Ilgauskas.

They should pull the trigger on the trade. This will certainly make a push for keeping lebron in a cavs uniform . The major question is do they have enough to push past the east , ya They have done it so far but they did last season and got put out in the playoffs. If they do make it past the eastern teams can the cavs beat the Lakers . are we big enough long enough, experienced enough. Yes we swept them in the regular season but last time we swept a power house out of the west and played them in the finales we got swept. So Mr Ferry lets make a deal
