SACRAMENTO- The Cavaliers got off to a slow start on their west coast road trip as they lost the first game to the Dallas Mavericks. Than they headed to Phoenix looking to repeat their performance in the first match up against the Suns. With another great performance from the smaller line up, the Cavaliers easily handled the Suns getting their first win on this west coast road trip.
Then the Cavaliers headed to Sacramento to take on a Kings team coming off a victory in which they came back from being 35 points down. The Cavaliers knew that they were facing a team that won’t give up no matter how many points they are down. Through out the whole game the score went back and forth, back and forth. Then in the last seconds of the game both teams had a chance to win the game. LeBron James took a shot for the Cavaliers but missing the shot just slightly to the right. Then Tyreke Evans was set to take the last second shot for the Kings but was unable to get it off before the time ran out ending regulation tied at 104.
Then in overtime it was all Cavaliers and they out scored the Kings 13-0 to win the game 117-104. A big part was do to the big play of LeBron James and Mo Williams.
James led the way with a triple-double 34 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assist. Mo Williams had 27 points, 3 assist and 1 rebound. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 25 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot.
The Cavalier next game in on December 25 against the L.A. Lakers. Tip off is at 5:00.
