Cavaliers Defense Keep Their Win Streak Going Beating The Bucks 85-82

CLEVELAND- The Cavaliers are getting set to do a West Coast road trip and the last way they would want to start it is with a loss. They were determined to do what ever it took to make sure that it would not start off that way as they were hosting the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks Are coming off a disappointing loss to the L.A. Lakers that ended with a controversial call. It was going to be interesting to see if the Bucks would come back in a positive way or a negative way.

The game got started off on a slow note for the Cavaliers as they found themselves in a 18-8 hole early in the first period, but where able to bounce back and finish the first period down only by 2 points (24-26). In the second period everything was even for both teams as they both scored 23 points giving the Bucks a 49-47 lead over the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers where able to go in at half time and regroup and step up their defense in the second half. In the third period the Cavaliers were able to out score the Bucks 24-12 giving them a 10 point lead (71-61). The Buck though would not go quietly As they were able to cut the Cavaliers lead to just three with 9.7 seconds left on the clock. The ball ended up in the hands of rookie Brandon Jennings. Jennings raised up and shot a three point attempt with 4.5 seconds left. The shot was off and Anderson Varejao was able to swat the ball to the other end of the court as the last 3.1 seconds ran off the clock. They Cavaliers were able to hang on and win 85-82.

LeBron James lead the the way with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assist and 3 blocked shots. Mo Williams had 17 points, 3 assist, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Delonte West had 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.

The Cavaliers start their road trip as they are set to head to Dallas to take on the Mavericks on Sunday. Tip off is at 7:30.
