Cavaliers Bounce Back Beating The Dallas Mavericks 111-95

CLEVELAND- After letting the Bobcats steal a victory last night in Charlotte, the Cavaliers knew that the pressure would be on as the Dallas Mavericks came into town to try and also steal a game for themselves. “Last night we didn’t do a good job defensively, starting with me” said head coach Mike Brown, ” We were kind of all over the map and it showed”

Tonight the Cavaliers got in focus to not only come out strong but to play the entire game focused and posed. The Cavaliers were only out scored in the third quarter.  Midway through the fourth quarter the Cavaliers but on the final squeeze killing any hopes of a comeback and securing a 111-95 victory. “We had a lot of good individual team performances,” said coach Brown,“especially offensively. A lot of the guys stood out. LeBron with the amount of the time he has the ball in his hands, with 12 assist and only one turnover was phenomenal.” Coach Brown also went on to say, “Obviously, Mo shot the ball well. Even with his ankle bothering him, he hit some big shots in the second half. Anderson was terrific, especially on the glass and the 50/50 balls in helping us win that battle or stay close with Dallas. Delonte was great with the basketball, having 10 assist and zero turnovers. In the Fourth quarter, our defense stepped up a notch and helped us get a little more separation.”

LeBron James led the way with 25 points, 12 assist and 5 rebounds. Mo Williams also had 25 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Anderson Varejao had 15 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assist. Jamario Moon had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 1 assist. And Delonte West had 10 points, 10 assist and 4 rebounds.

The Cavaliers next game is Wednesday December 2 at the Quicken Loans Arena, which is LeBron James bobble head give away. Tip off is at 7:00.
