ORLANDO- Last time the Cavaliers were in Orlando they were eliminated out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference Finals. You had to know going into this game there would be at least two players that wanted to come in here and make a statement in LeBron James and Mo Williams. Also many experts felt that this game is a measuring tool for where the Cavaliers are and if they did make the right moves to put this team to a champion caliber level. Well if it was answers they were looking for its answers they got.

LeBron James lead the game in scoring with 36 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assist, Mo Williams also with a strong performance with 28 points, 6 assist and 1 rebound and Shaquille O’Neal had 10 points, 4 rebounds and 2 block shots. Also Anthony Parker and JJ Hickson both had 9 points.

It was easy to see how big of a role Shaquille O’Neal played going up against Dwight Howard. Right away O’Neal had Howard in foul trouble, frustrated and out of his game, which is what was missing last year. During this week in practice before today, you could see the passion in the eyes of James and Williams on how bad they wanted to go into Orlando and make the statement they did. This is truly the best that the Cavaliers have played as a team. If you look back now at the first game of the season against Boston, they didn’t lose it by much and Boston is on a roll themselves. In my opinion as the season continues Cavaliers are going to do nothing but get better and that spells trouble for the rest of the NBA. Enjoy it Cavaliers fans, this is what you wanted to see.
