CLEVELAND- Ever sense 1992 when Shaquille O’Neal was selected with the first pick of the draft by the Orlando Magic, he has been known as “The Man Of Steel” Superman. Over the years O’Neal has had added tattoos to his body. Those being The Man Of Steel and the Superman logo. O’Neal has gone as far as having all his automobiles having the Superman logo being added to the grills and seats.
Now Dwight Howard comes into the league and wants to claim the name Superman, posing in adds and commercials as Superman and even doing the slam dunk contest dressed as Superman. I don’t think so. Keep in mind O’Neal has done more than enough to have earned and to keep the name Superman. Hopefully after the match up in Orlando all will see who the real Superman is. I for one already know it’s O’Neal, it’s all in the numbers and the rings.
