Larry Bird Is Among Those Who Hopes LeBron Stays In Cleveland

CLEVELAND- Although the 2009-10 NBA season just got started, there are many who can’t stop wondering and worrying where LeBron James is going to sign next year. Will it be Cleveland, New York, New Jersey or any other team. I for one knows what James means to the city and surrounding city of Cleveland. All other major cities are looking at James as a meal ticket. If another team where to sign James their revenue would have a major jump on the plus side.
One thing all fans need to keep in mind is we have James now, it’s a new season and we have a real chance to contend for the NBA Championship. Try not to miss out on the time we know for sure James is here and enjoy every minute. If you don’t you may miss a championship trophy being held high at the Quicken Loans Arena.
One person who is hoping James stays in Cleveland is former Boston Celtic great Larry Bird. Larry Bird has gone on record with his feeling saying:
“He’s from Ohio and he means so much to that team and that state. I used to love to go and play in Cleveland because they love the game. And, I like to see the great players stay in the cities and with the teams that drafted them. It means so much for the league and the state. So I would rather see him stay.”
Key point don’t get to caught up in worrying if James is going to stay or not until it’s time to. Enjoy the season.
