Finial Preseason Game Sets The Tone For The Home Opener With The Celtics

COLUMBUS,OH- In the Cavaliers finial preseason game in Columbus against the Boston Celtics, both teams had different goals in mind as they took the court at the Ohio State University. The Cavaliers main goals was to try and work on team chemistry and defense. The Celtics goal was to make an early statement that they are the bullies of the Eastern conference.
The Cavaliers got their work in to complete their goal, and the bully Celtics completed their goal right before the end of the first half when Shelden Williams and Mo Williams were in the paint when a last second shot was put up. As the shot was in the air, Shelden pushed Mo to the floor with some force. An unhappy Mo got up and nudged Shelden. At that point Shelden pushed Mo hard and Daniel Gibson Push Shelden back protecting Mo. Then the referees stepped in and and cooler heads prevailed. One thing for sure, the Cavaliers won’t forget and the season opener should be that more interesting as I’m sure there will be no love loss from now until then.
The Celtics did prevail in this finial preseason game for the Cavaliers 96-82. LeBron James looked great with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assist in 28:57 minutes, Anderson Varejao had 10 points and 7 rebounds in 25:30 minutes and Shaquille O’Neal had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 1 block in 20:10 minutes. Shooting percentage for the team was 47.2%. One good sign was Delonte West dressed for the game but didn’t play.
