CLEVELAND- A day that all Cleveland sports fans have been waiting for, the start of the 2009-10 Cleveland Cavaliers season. I had a chance myself to attend the Media Day which was yesterday September 28, and I have to tell you the excitement that is coming from all the player is overwhelming. I had a chance to hear from a lot of the big names from the team. Mike Brown made mention on how much better this team is even after winning sixty-six games last year. When talking with Mo Williams we brought up  the fact that last year they were built to beat the Boston Celtics but this year Williams stated they are built to beat anybody.

Shaquille O’Neal was mentioned in nearly ever interview and always with a big smile. Everyone including myself are looking forward to the culture that O’Neal will bring to the team with his experience, knowledge, energy and personality. He had no problem letting everyone knows that he is aware that this is LeBron’s team. His job is to come in here and help the Cavaliers over the hump and win an NBA championship. O’Neal was not short of any jokes either as he was sporting his shorts which were way to small for him and he showed some of his team mates some Kung-fu karate moves.

LeBron James is for sure looking forward to the season ahead and no further. The main goal is a Ring For The King and to bring Cleveland a NBA Championship. One of the nice things with having O’Neal here is it will take a light of the unnecessary spot light off of LeBron. Plus Lebron talked about his summer and being productive promoting his new Nike shoes and his movie.

One thing for sure the excitement, energy, talent and ability is there and ready in every player to make a run and bring home the NBA championship to Cleveland Ohio.
